About the project
A study companion, grounded in the tradition.
Pope Shenouda III AI is a grounded AI study companion that draws on Pope Shenouda III’s writings, the history of the Coptic Church, and Scripture. Ask a question and you’ll receive a thoughtful response with the sources kept in view — so you can read with depth and follow the thread back to the text.
Pope Shenouda III’s books, letters, and talks on the spiritual life — read in his own clear, pastoral voice.
The councils, saints, and movements of the Coptic Church that shaped how the faith has been lived and taught.
The Bible from the LXX Septuagint and the NKJV — the ground the whole tradition stands on.
Who it’s for
Anyone who wants to study the faith with care — and keep the sources close at hand.

Inquirers and catechumens

Anyone studying Shenouda’s writings or Church history who wants the sources kept close at hand.
Why we built this
Pope Shenouda III wrote with a rare combination of warmth, clarity, and rigor — and the Coptic tradition keeps its sources close: Scripture read in the light of the Church, history still alive in the present, and teaching rooted in a living community.
We built this companion because we kept finding ourselves turning back to his writings and to the Bible, wishing there were a careful study partner to keep them all in view while we read. It is made by a small, independent team that loves this tradition, and it is kept running by the people who use it.
This is a human-scale project: no growth tactics, just a careful tool for careful reading.
A study companion, not a replacement for your priest, confession, or pastoral care.
