This Privacy Policy explains what information the Pope Shenouda III AI Service (“the Service”) collects, why we collect it, how it is stored and shared, and the choices you have. It is operated by TechLion Dev. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

• Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, your email address, and the authentication details needed to sign you in.
• Chat messages and conversation history. We store the questions you ask and the responses we generate, together with your conversation history, so you can return to your study.
• Memory entries. If you choose to save notes or “memory” entries, we store them so your study can remain personalized across sessions.
• Basic technical information. We may collect limited technical information, such as the browser type and device information used to access the Service, through the session cookies described below.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the Service, including saving and restoring your conversations.
• Personalize responses based on your saved memory entries and conversation history.
• Improve the Service, its responses, and the sources it draws on.
• Respond to your questions, support requests, and account requests.

4. Where Your Data Is Stored

Account information and chat history are stored in a managed SQL database, and the searchable content used to find relevant sources is stored in a vector database. These are hosted and operated by database and search infrastructure providers we rely on to run the Service. We choose providers that apply reasonable security measures to protect your data.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not share your data for advertising. We may share information only with the service providers who help us operate the Service — such as hosting, database, and search infrastructure, and the payment processor that handles paid subscriptions — and only as needed to provide the Service. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.

6. Cookies

The Service uses session and authentication cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or track you across other websites. If you disable cookies, you may still use the Service, though some account features may not work.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls on the databases that store your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account, chats, and memory entries for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual conversations at any time. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep it longer by law.

9. Your Rights and Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and your data at any time by emailing support@techlion.dev. We will act on deletion requests within a reasonable period and will confirm when your data has been removed. If you cancel a paid subscription, your data continues to be stored under this policy until you ask us to delete it.

10. Children

The Service is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@techlion.dev.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where practical, provide notice by email or in-product. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
